Greenwich YMCA

Blades+Goven prepared Site Plans and assisted the YMCA in acquiring approvals from the Town of Greenwich Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning and Zoning Departments for the new natatorium and gymnasium additions. The busy downtown location posed numerous obstacles for the design team including close proximity to a residential neighborhood, limited parking alternatives and high volume roadways surrounding the site on three sides. The design included a new drop off lane for day care, an enclosed play area a playscape for toddlers, surface and subsurface parking.
